Sample Management & Inventory Specialist(J12782)

⚫ To register and process samples, conduct experiments, and upload results data accurately within defined time frames. ⚫ To collect samples and assist logistics team with sample transfer. ⚫ Responsible for waste management function at the end of each day, as well as sample destroy. ⚫ To conduct inventory, accessioning and tracking of sample into the lab via LIMS system. ⚫ To perform routine laboratory maintenance activities, including ordering & receiving supplies, maintaining consumable inventories and updating instrument usage logbooks. ⚫ To conform with all site quality management systems and health and safety procedures (ISO 17025:2017, ISO 15189:2023, GCLP, Human Tissue Act (2004)). ⚫ Responsible for the daily operation and management of the laboratory warehouse, including inbound, outbound, inventory check and control of materials. ⚫ Responsible for establishing and optimizing the inventory management process to ensure that the storage and management of materials meet the company requirements and safety standards. ⚫ Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the warehouse, ensure that materials are stored in categories, and avoid confusion of items. ⚫ Use ERP, OA, SRM and other systems to record and manage material information to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of material data. ⚫ Promote the purchase of items that need to be purchased in a timely manner in accordance with the inventory management system. ⚫ Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, biotechnology, or similar subject is required, with a minimum of one-year laboratory experience. Strong teamwork ethic and the commitment to successfully deliver to tight deadlines are essential. High accuracy and attention to detail are a must for both laboratory and office-based work. A strong and open communication skills is essential. Fluent operating Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoints is essential. Experience of using Laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
