General Description:The DMPK Department of BeiGene is seeking a highly talented and motivated research investigator to join the team. The position requires close collaboration with research teams, developing and executing in vitro and in vivo ADME strategies necessary to provide scientific direction around the characterization of DMPK profile of small molecules.Responsibilities:Study Design and Execution: Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to characterize and assess the liabilities of small molecule compounds, supporting the nomination of drug candidates.ADME/PK Study Coordination: Coordinate ADME/PK studies efficiently, communicating protocols, timelines, needs, and results to the team to ensure optimized cycle times.Project Oversight: Oversee internal and outsourced non-clinical drug metabolism and PK activities across multiple projects, including study design, data interpretation, and presentation.Method Development: Develop and refine bioanalytical methods for plasma and tissue samples.Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze experimental data, prepare comprehensive reports, and contribute to scientific publications.Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, clinical) and external partners.Expertise and Problem-Solving: Provide scientific expertise in ADME assays and help resolve challenges during development, establish strategy around ADME in drug research, while exploring new technology and methods. Requirements:Education: PhD in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics.Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ADME and pharmacokinetics, with expertise in LC-MS/MS instrumentation, method development, and analysis of biological fluids and tissues. Experience with a Sciex Platform for qualitative and quantitative analysis is preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
