Electrical Engineer(J10220)

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following: ● Documenting design narratives & engineering analysis: Creating and modifying detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contributing to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing. ● Developing and presenting schematic design proposals to support customers on PCB layer stacking design. Support the design, prototyping and validation of high voltage, low voltage connectors, busbars and harnesses ● Serving as an engineering resource for the sales team by offering technical insights, product recommendations and engineering solutions to customer. ● Interacting with customers to understand their requirements and pain points and verifying feasibility of solutions. ● Communicating with customers to solve complex interconnect problems. Work closely with cross functional teams including mechanical engineers , manufacturing engineers to optimize product. ● Conducting product demonstrations, providing proof of concept evaluation units upon qualified sales activity. ● Oversee testing procedures including electrical conductivity, insulation resistance and environmental durability tests. Follow up with customers on status of evaluation unit testing and results ● Assisting with testing of High-speed Digital Signal Integrity Design, Simulation and PCB testing including mechanical, electrical and environmental tests. ● Evaluating electrical products, components, and applications to ensure they meet specific standards and codes. ● Building rapport and providing customer support related to samples, delivery dates, part drawings and specifications and quality issues. ● Providing feedback to internal product development teams on customer needs and market trends. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product innovation and competitiveness ● Working closely with the product development group in the design and development of new product lines, equipment selection, fabrication methodology selection. ● Providing support for product and materials obsolescence and product migration. Provide technical expertise and guidance to automotive and new energy customers during product development and integration.

Experience requirement: Two years as an electrical engineer. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Skills Required: ● Interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics ● PCB layer stacking design. ● CAD Tools such 3D Sprint & 3D Xpert ● HV systems ● Proof of concept evaluations ● Statistical analysis software such as Matlab and simulation tools such as LabVIEW ● Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, Precision metrology equipment ● Knowledge of standards and codes such as IEC, UL, SAE, ISO standards.
