/ Responsibilities Execute translational projects by designing and executing in vitro and in vivo experiments to perform in-depth characterization of mechanism(s) of action of therapeutic leads. Closely work with Clinical Biomarker team to establish and validate biomarkers to support clinical trials. Develop pre-clinical animal models to test the activity of therapeutic leads, both biologics and small molecules, in the single agent format and in combination with established therapeutic agents through collaboration with early Discovery teams. Supervise master-level scientists for efficient hands-on work delivery according to project priorities and timelines. Explore, evaluate and establish biomarker technology platform. Engage colleagues in cross-disciplinary scientific discussion, present scientific data to internal and external audiences.

/ QualificationsPhD with oncology experience. In-depth knowledge and solid scientific training with track record of high-quality publication. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with peers across multiple areas. Excellent analytical, organizational and trouble-shooting skills. Excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese. BeOne Medicine is searching for an investigator with strong record of science training in molecular biology and biochemistry to provide expertise in developing our oncology pipelines.  Research experience in the field of Oncology or Immuno-Oncology is a plus to the job. Knowledge of NGS sequencing, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatic analysis is also a plus. This individual will design and execute proof-of-concept studies or identify key questions from translation and biomarker aspect of oncology projects to help the development of pipelines. This individual will also assist in cross-functional development of our research strategy.
