Antibody Therapeutics, Principal Investigator /Senior Research Investigator

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD level scientist in antibody therapeutics. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the biologics therapeutics pipelines in BeOne Medicines. The ideal candidate is expected to possess a strong record of success in project leading and antibody engineering, deep expertise in relevant technologies. Broad knowledge of disease areas and experience in leading early-stage biologics drug discovery programs are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: 1. Antibody engineering Independently design and execute antibody engineering work including but not limited to humanization, affinity maturation, PI engineering etc. using both rational design and library construction methodologies. Lead the design and engineering of complex bispecific and trispecific antibody molecules, applying deep scientific knowledge and innovative strategies. Drive the full experimental workflow, from sequence analysis, modeling, library design and molecular design to final characterization and optimization. 2. Experimental execution and troubleshooting Perform and interpret related data during projects. Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve technical challenges across all experimental platforms, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results. 3. Cross-functional collaboration Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure seamless project progression and integration. Effectively communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations to internal stakeholders. 4. Drive Innovation Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and platforms to enhance the quality and efficiency of antibody engineering processes, in alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. 5. Industry experience and project leadership Leverage prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotech antibody drug development projects to inform experimental design and strategic decision-making. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end antibody drug development process, from discovery through IND-enabling studies. Independently manage projects, including planning, execution, and reporting, with a proven ability to deliver on project goals. Qualifications: PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience. Demonstrated expertise in antibody engineering, structural biology, and bispecific antibody design and engineering, with a proven record of innovative problem-solving. Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Broad knowledge and interest in oncology, immunology, and neurology are preferred. Experience in leading early-stage biologics drug discovery programs is a plus.
