This article summarizes major feature updates from April 17 through early May 2026. It continues from the Early April Release Notes.

DeepSeek V4 Model Integration — More Powerful Resume Optimization

In late April, DeepResume officially integrated DeepSeek V4 Pro and DeepSeek V4 Flash, setting DeepSeek V4 Flash as the default recommended model.

  • DeepSeek V4 Pro: Higher reasoning capability, ideal for users who prioritize resume rewrite quality. Can be selected manually in settings.
  • DeepSeek V4 Flash: Faster response, lower cost. Now the default optimization model, making everyday use smoother.

After this upgrade, core features including resume diagnosis, content rewriting, and JD matching analysis all benefit from the new model's enhanced language understanding and content generation capabilities.

Homepage Video Demo Added

A resume optimization flow video was added to the homepage, intuitively showcasing the complete process from resume upload to optimized output. New users can quickly grasp the product's value proposition, reducing the learning curve significantly.

CAPTCHA Added to Registration / Login

Image-based CAPTCHA was added to the registration and login pages, effectively preventing automated script mass-registration and brute-force attacks, strengthening account security.

Auto-Scroll to Q&A Section After Payment

After completing payment, the page now automatically scrolls to the confirmation questions section and displays explanatory text, helping users understand why they need to answer these questions. Previously, many users didn't know what to do after paying—this change significantly improves the post-payment guidance experience.

Mobile and Homepage Style Optimizations

  • Multiple rounds of layout and spacing fine-tuning for the homepage on mobile devices, improving the small-screen browsing experience
  • Workspace page styles synchronized to mobile screen sizes
  • Minor display adjustments to the resume preview section for a cleaner layout

System Stability and Operations Improvements

Several system-level improvements were made during this phase (transparent to normal usage):

  • Fixed a DOCX avatar parsing bug
  • Introduced daily automated error log aggregation, enabling the development team to detect and respond to anomalies faster
  • Nginx security hardening with server version information concealed
  • Migrated email delivery service to AWS SES, improving deliverability and stability

Summary

Late April iteration focused on two directions:

  1. Model upgrade: Integrated DeepSeek V4 to further enhance the depth of understanding and rewrite quality for resume optimization
  2. User experience polish: Homepage demo more intuitive, post-payment guidance clearer, mobile experience smoother, and CAPTCHA strengthening account security
